Mission 3C is about you and me as part of TBC becoming connectors
of our city to Christ. We, the entire TBC family, are going on a
mission trip within Tokyo to tell our friends, "Come and see". The
desire is to involve every TBC member to connect people to Christ,
more specifically guests who will come to the Christmas Gospel
Concerts to be held on December 7 in Aoyama University auditorium.
The concerts serve as platforms for people to get-off and are just
one of the major stations on the Mission 3C Line.
More importantly, Mission 3C is about making Jesus known as the
Savior of Tokyo and Japan and the world. Like many of the Samaritans,
our prayer is that many Tokyoites will come and say to us, "Thank you
for connecting us to Christ. We no longer trust in Jesus because of
what you said and did, but because we've met him personally and know
for sure that he is our Savior. (John 4:42)"
Mission is the overall task of the church to
fulfill its 5 purposes as given in the Great Commandment and the Great
Commission: worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry.
Thus, Mission 3C is not only built around worship and evangelism but is
for each purpose. It is for every person and every small group!
