“God
is Counting on You!"
So far, in my Christian life
I have heard approximately 800 sermons delivered on Sundays.
Out of these I only remember a few (sorry, pastors!). I was
particularly challenged and encouraged by one of the messages
which said "… we are God’s mouth, we are God’s
ears, we are God’s eyes, we are God’s hands, we
are God’s feet, we are God’s heart … we are
God’s body."
"All of you are Christ’s
body, and each one is a part of it." 1 Corinthians 12:27(GNB)
God has chosen and plugged us into
the body of Christ not only to be saved but also to serve. We
are instruments of His love: called to evangelize by sharing
the "good news."

For instance, in Tokyo there are more
than 12 million people who are |
squeezed in the subways of hopelessness
bound for perpetual darkness. Can you figure out that number?
Well, that’s equivalent to 200 Tokyo Dome Stadiums! What
a great need! Who will go and tell them about "the way,
the truth and the life (John
"Everyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on
the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe
in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear
without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless
they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet
of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:13-15(NIV)
The Bible is crystal clear that unless
someone goes forth and speaks, lost people may have no other
means to find and know Jesus Christ, the Son of God. You may
not be a preacher or an evangelist, but certainly

God has made you for a mission in harmony with the way you were
shaped. You can make a difference in people’s lives. He
wants you to join Him in the harvest field!
In this section are
several opportunities available for you to "share God’s
love in Tokyo and beyond". I personally encourage you to
get on board and serve God! And remember, God is counting on
you!
