Good News Class

This is a bible study class for non-Christians who want to learn more about the living Christ. We learn in a relaxed atmosphere around a large table. This is also a good training ground for Christians who want to know how best to share the Good News. Classes are conducted both in English and Japanese. Classes are every Sunday from 11am to 12:30pm.

Discovering My Membership Class 101

This class is the basic introduction to our church family. Since TBC has people from many different church backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities, this class was designed to clearly explain who and what TBC is. We will see what makes TBC a family. Four things unite us: Our Salvation (What God has done for us), Our Statement (Why we exist as a church), Our Strategy (How we fulfill our purpose), and Our Structure (When & where we fulfill our purpose).

Discovering My Maturity Class 201

We will focus on the Four Basic Habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. Four Basic Habits we develop are: Time with God’s Word, Prayer, Tithing, Fellowship. The class will equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits, and explain the tools you need to continue these habits.

Discovering My Ministry Class 301

The purpose of this class is to help members of TBC understand their gifts and personality so they can find ways to serve in the calling and ministry of the church. We want to focus on an individual approach to ministry rather than an organizational approach. We will focus on Five Personal Factors that have combined to shape the “real” you. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed you for will become clear!

Discovering My Mission Class 401

In this class, you will begin to discover your Mission in the world. The goal of this class is: that I commit the rest of my life to being a messenger of God’s Good News to other people, and using my time, talents, and treasure for his Kingdom, regardless of where it leads or what it costs.

Class 402 Worthy Witness Workshop (WWW@TBC)

The purpose of this class is to answer basic questions on evangelism as well as provide practical suggestions for follow-up. Why share the Gospel? What is the Gospel? How to share the Gospel? Why follow-up? How to follow-up?

Class 210 Small Group Training

Small Group Training is a class intended for all members. Whether you are a host, leader, or member – or even desire to be one, we encourage you to join. This class focuses on the membership care and how to facilitate spiritual steps of you and your entire group. We discuss where you are going and how you are going to get there with your Small Group!
