Discovering Your Ministry Class 301 is presentation about gifts from God and how to discover the gifts.
Prerequisite Class 101 & 201. Interview with discovery guide follows the Class session (same day or later).

Discovering Your Membership Class 101 is for those who are interested in becoming a Tokyo Baptist Church

Kenya Mission Trip
TBC has partnered with a national church to plant a church among the Ilchamus Tribe. The team will be
supporting the on-going missions among this tribal people. Activities may include sharing the gospel and
personal testimonies, praying on-site, visiting children's homes and HIV-Aids patients, and fellowshipping
with the national believers.
Date: October 13 - 20;
Cost: 250,000 - 280,000yen
Application deadline: August 24

Cambodia Mission Team
The team returned safely last August 11. Went to 4 different villages with around 220 received medical
treatments and around 170 children being ministered to. Around 80 adults prayed to receive Jesus as Lord
and Savior. Please pray for follow-up through our local partners. Praise the Lord for such a great privilege in
using us there - Ferdie, Sebastian, Kyoko, Moi, & Chris.
The Next Sermon Series
The Next Sermon Series is coming, beginning September 13 & 14, called FAMILY PORTRAIT. This series will
take a look at what the Bible says is God's desire for the family. The messages will look at such topics as
"Preparation for Marriage" and "What is the Family?" and "What are the responsibilities of the husband and
the wife and the children."

Shepherding A Child's Heart
Beginning September 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pastor Dennis (assisted by Judi) will teach
Shepherding a Childユs Heart. This class will meet eight times. All fathers and mothers are encouraged
to make this time investment on behalf of your children to become the godly parent that God teaches us
to be from His Word. You will need to make a reservation to attend this class. Nursery provided if needed.

The Excellent Wife
Begins Sep.10, Wednesday, at 10:00am.
The Excellent Wife is an absolute must for women today. This Scripturally based study is a detailed portrait
of a godly wife. The standard is high and holy, and by Godユs grace it is attainable. It explains what God
requires of a Christian wife, and explains clearly how to obey Godユs commandments in order to become that wife.
