Route: Approx. 10 min. walk
At JR
Shibuya station get on the Toyoko
Line going toward Yokohama (don't take express). Go one
stop to Daikanyama and walk Kyu-Yamate dori (a couple of minutes
from the station) towards the Danish
Embassy and the Malaysian Embassy. The landmark for TBC
is a big parking lot adjacent to the church building.
Coming from the Shibuya station:
About 15 min.
Take Tokyu
Transess (dark red mini bus) from the South
exit. Its depot is found at the end of crosswalk bridge
on your lefthand side as you stand at the exit. Get off at
Daiichi-shogyou-koukou-mae
or tell to bus driver you want to go to Tokyo Baptist Church.
Coming from Nakameguro station:
About 10 min.
Turn left as you come out of the station's only exit. Walk
along Yamate Dori passing Denny's restaurant on your lefthand
side. Turn right at the 7-11. Continue along this
street until you come upon a hill. Stop. Take a
deep breathe and take the hill. The Egyptian embassy
will be at the top on the right. Stop. Take another
breathe, because that's some hill! Cross the street
(Kyu-Yamate Dori). Turn left on this same street.
Walking for about a minute, you'll pass a girl's high school.
Tokyo Baptist Church is after the school on your right.
